BEHIND THE LENS

We are Tom and Matt, partners of Island Image. We both have gone down creative paths, including working as light and camera operators on movies, advertising, videography, and photography. Our skill set went together as perfectly as champagne and diamonds, so we launched our business.

In the future, we would like to cover more weddings out of Hobart both domestically and internationally. We also have a burning desire to get into wilderness and adventure weddings. This bridal trend matches well with our hobbies and would be a natural progression to our style. 

When they are not working, you can find Tom spending time with his children, cooking and managing his vintage clothing store, Next Stop Vintage. Matt keeps busy gardening, surfing and bushwalking.
